Cricket Ireland Irish Senior and National Cup Quarter Final Draws

The draws have been made for the quarter-finals of both the Irish Senior and National Cups and there are some mouth-watering clashes in store next month.

Holders Merrion face a journey north to face the winners of Coleraine v Waringstown, while three times winners North Down are away to either Pembroke or Bready.

There’s an all-NCU clash at Belmont where CIYMS entertain Instonians, while Balbriggan, playing in the competition for the first time, face a daunting engagement at either The Hills or Donemana.

In the National Cup, Malahide have home advantage over Midleton, while holders Rush take on fellow Leinster side Terenure, who knocked Limerick out in a dramatic super-over decider at the weekend.

County Kerry face the long trek north to County Tyrone to play Strabane, while Derriaghy will host the winners of the Newbuildings v Knockharley match.

All the games will be played on Sunday July 9th, with the reserve date being July 23rd.
