Toyota Super 3s see Dragons face Typhoons

The Toyota Super 3 match this weekend sees the Dragons and Typhoons go head to head at Oak Hill, both seeking their first victory of the season.
With two scheduled matches left in the 50 over season, the Dragons and the Typhoons have two chances to get wins on the board. The Scorchers have won all three of their matches played in 2017 but only have T20 matches left this year.
Therefore Dragons Coach Rob O’Connor and Typhoons boss Clare Shillington will be keen to see their charges register a first victory of the season this Sunday at Oak Hill.

Poor early season weather meant some matches had to be postponed and the players will be hoping to win the two remaining matches, and any re-fixes the schedules allow, to reel in the Scorchers at the top of the table.

The Dragons have played just one game against the Scorchers this season, losing by 7 wickets, while the Typhoons were beaten by 60 runs (DLS) and 70 runs in their two matches against the league leaders.

The action at Oak Hill, between the Dragons and the Typhoons, gets underway at 1pm and entrance is free.
