Macron signs as new Kit Supplier

The Italian sportswear giant inks four-year deal.

BOLOGNA, Italy – Cricket Ireland has today announced Italian-based sportswear giant Macron as its new Technical Kit Supplier for the next four years.

Established in Bologna in 1971, Macron produces sportswear for a range of sports, including football, rugby union, volleyball, basketball, baseball, handball, netball, American Football and cricket. While Macron already supplies the Italian Cricket Federation, this will be its first move into top-level international cricket.

Starting this season and running through to 2026, the Macron Hero will appear on the jerseys and technical apparel of Cricket Ireland’s international and domestic teams, supplying both men’s and women’s teams with the technical clothing – for both athletes and staff.

Best of all for fans, Macron’s online retail capabilities will see a new ability to purchase replica kit and supporter merchandise – this is something fans have been demanding for some time now, and we’re pleased to be able to bring this capability to the market shortly.
