Sussex Cricket Club and Cricket Ireland will honour the long-service and career achievements of one of their most successful players, Dublin-born Ed Joyce, by playing a T20 match between Sussex Sharks and an Ireland XI at Arundel Castle on Sunday 24 June 2018.
The match is part of the Ed Joyce Testimonial Year programme, an honour bestowed on him by Sussex Cricket to recognise his service to the county side that he played for from 2009 to 2016, and captained from mid-2012 to 2015.

The T20 match is ideally timed as part of Ireland Men’s teams’ preparations for the important two-match T20I series against India in Dublin (buy tickets here for India T20I series).

You can find all the details on the match and purchase your tickets online here.

Hospitality tickets are also available and include a two-course lunch, private marquee and cash bar in addition to a couple of special guest speakers before play starts.

Summer Bash Fundraising Dinner in Dublin

For those who cannot support Ed’s testimonial and fundraising activities in the UK, he will host a ‘Summer Bash’ fundraising dinner to raise funds for three cricketing causes and charities.

The inaugural ‘Summer Bash’ fundraising dinner will be held on 28 June 2018 in aid of three cricketing causes and charities close to his heart – the Ed Joyce Scholarship Fund, the Cricket Leinster Development Fund and the Lord’s Taverners Ireland.

The event will take place at the Guinness Storehouse and is a must for any Irish cricket fan!

At the event you will be greeted with a drinks reception at 7pm, followed by a three-course dinner with wine at 8pm, and to wrap up the night there will be a raffle and an auction. The highlight of the night will be a panel discussion with current and former international cricket stars so make sure to get your tickets now!

“I think the future of Irish cricket is bright, and that’s not just because of test cricket or our full membership of the ICC. It is because of what’s happening in every club across Ireland,” said Ed.

“The next generation of Irish cricketing talent is playing at an unprecedented level. I want to ensure that we are supporting this talent through both our established national teams and through our club network. In particular, I want to support clubs that are newly established. The heart and soul of Irish cricket is the club game and supporting that is what the ‘Summer Bash’ is all about.”

Tickets for the ‘Summer Bash’ at the Guinness Storehouse on Thursday 28 June 2018 are on sale now here. Tickets cost €120 per person or €1,200 for a table of 10 people. For more information call (+353 1) 653 2180 or email phillyquinlan100@gmail.com.
