Wolves Ready To Take on Bangladesh A in 1-Day Series

The Ireland Wolves begin their one-day series against Bangladesh A with a match in Cox’s Bazar at 9am local time (4am Irish time) on Tuesday, October 17th.

The Wolves were beaten by 5 wickets in the 4-day match in Sylhet which finished on Saturday before they travelled south on Sunday.
Captain Andy Balbirnie was disappointed to lose the game but he was happy that he couldn’t have asked any more from the lads. “We’ll look back on this as an opportunity to win missed, but we’ve said this tour is all about learning and I’m confident all 11 players have taken something that can help them improve.”

The 16 man squad will have plenty of opportunity to show their talent throughout the five-match series. The first Wolves XI to go up against Bangladesh A, will do so from 9am Tuesday morning.

Cricket Ireland will provide updates throughout the day’s play on Twitter (@irelandcricket) and a report at the close of play on the website.
