Ireland’s premier batter, Gaby incredibly made her debut at just 13 years old. Over the 10 years since, she has evolved from a legspinner and lower order batter to one of the most feared opening batters in the game when she’s on song.

Gaby is a player in demand, having played in various franchise leagues such as The Hundred and Fairbreak Global. She’s kept busy with cricket but is also studying Radiography in University College Dublin. Lewis comes from a well-known cricketing family – her father, Alan, captained Ireland and won 121 caps, and her sister, Robyn, has also been capped, last playing for her country in 2017.

Gaby was practically raised in YMCA Cricket Club in Dublin surrounded by top level players who, no doubt, added to her game. There’s nothing in the game that Lewis won’t have set her sights on, including playing in a World Cup Final.

Her role model is the former international batter Clare Shillington, and Gaby takes after her with a powerful game and shots all round the ground.
