Bio
The tall right-arm in-swing bowler came out of nowhere in 2021 to lead the Ireland attack in their series against Scotland and Netherlands with a calmness that belied her youth. The bounce that she’s able to produce due to her height troubled everyone she came up against, but it was her inward movement in the air that did the most damage. After an injury that side-lined her for much of the previous year, Canning’s rise to the top of the Ireland bowling attack is nothing short of phenomenal.
