One of Leinster’s premier club cricketers, Delaney is yet to really crack into the Ireland team with consistency. Marked improvement with ball in hand makes her a real contender for a more stable position in the green shirt going forward. A genuine all-rounder, Delaney is more stroke-maker than power hitter. Comfortable batting anywhere in the line-up, Delaney is a captain’s dream as she finds her feet easily.
